Fort Worth

Over Memorial weekend we decided to go to Fort Worth. It was a really fun day! It is a cool little town with a lot of born and raised cowboys.

We went with David's parents to a Wild West show.

It was held here, at the Coliseum, also where they had the first bull riding.

Standing in front of the Fort Worth Stock Yards sign.

The hotel where Bonnie and Clyde stayed, and also escaped when police came looking for them. You can even stay in the same room that Bonnie and Clyde stayed in, I'm sure that isn't too cheap!

The rodeo was at the same place as the wild west show. First, we went to look at longhorns. It must be really annoying carrying those horns on their head. Like David put it, "It's like carrying a 2 by 4 around and running into everything." I think that'd get pretty old.

It is always funny when they have the little kids go out. I'm pretty sure I was too shy to go out when I was little. I would definitely go out now if I could get some money!

We were stopped in the street to be the first participants in some wrestling..... Some sumo wrestling that is. They were handing out free food advertising their sauce too! So we decided, why not?? They had us sign a few things saying we wouldn't sue them when we killed each other.
The guy asked if we were 18 and David jokingly said he was 17. The guy didn't believe he was joking so David had to show him his I.D.! ha I certainly did not have to show any! It's a good thing to look so young for your age David! I'd take that as a compliment.

Doesn't he look so handsome?!

The suit was ridiculously big, and hard to move in.

There was a little crowd that gathered around to watch the cow take on the pig. Man did it get hot in that suit! Here is a little video of us:

Afterwards they interviewed us, and said to check their website in a couple weeks because we might be on there! So look out, we are the next web celebrities!
